Background
As you noticed on the home page my name is Adrian. Here on this About Me Page you can learn everything about me, how I got into photography, my style of photography and more!
Some background information about me, I am a senior in high school. I love spending time outdoors which is where I developed my love for nature photography.
I love to watch and play sports, I love to observe animals and see how they are up close, that is where I again developed my love for taking pictures of animals.
Another thing that I like is watching sunsets and sunrises, this gives me a sense of happiness and peace. This reflects my photography because I love to taking pictures whenever the sun is somewhat on my subject.
How I started Photography?
I started my photography journey around August of 2024. I was first introduced to photography as I child. But my passion for photography grew during 2024. The passion started when I took Photography 1-2 at school.
Here in this class I learned all the basics of photography, which included the basics of a camera, then learning about shutter speed, aperture and iso. After learning all the basics I was happy but I wanted to learn more. I wasn’t satisfied, I wanted to learn more in the field of photography. My goal one day was to master all aspects of photography.
Thankfully, I had a camera at home meaning I could practice at home and develop more skills. Unfortunately, I had a very old camera, a Canon EOS Rebel T2I which released in 2010. But this did not discourage me what so ever. I would practice whenever I could, and looking back now at some of my old photos I am very glad to see all the progress I’ve made.
Adding More Skills
The year 2025 was by far the most important for my photography journey. From around January to mid July I saw my photography grow. I would take better shots, know how to use the sun to my advantage, when my preferred practice time was.
As my last year of high school approached I decided to take Photography 3-4 Honors, this class further expanded my skills. It required me to take more shots, tougher shots, different and odd subjects. But there was still something I lacked heavily that needed to be addressed. This was editing. I had zero clue how to edit, and as a beginner level I knew I would have no chance of becoming a photographer without learning how to edit. Unfortunately the gear I had for todays standards of photography was not good. Having a camera from 2010 in 2025 was a very big disadvantage. Thankfully after doing some research I found the perfect camera for me. A Canon R10, this camera is very expensive sitting around $1000. Thankfully I was able to check one out from my school to use. Unfortunately my time was limited with this camera since I could only use it for a few days before returning it. I did make the best of it and I am glad to say it did not disappoint!
The Journey Ahead
As of writing this it is February 2026. I look forward to my journey not only in life but also photography. To the people who have spent their time to read this, thank you. I will updating my website whenever I can. I look forward to mastering everything in photography and one day opening my own business. One day I will have much better gear and equipment for photography, I will be a great editor, and will be a photographer for life.
